Job Summary

Assist the lead teacher and co-teachers with position will be responsible  the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children attending the Children's Center.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Work as a team with other teachers in a multi-age class

• Fill in for any situations that might arise in the classroom

• Keep a clean and organized environment

• Able to take direction

• Able to communicate effectively

• Follows schedules and directions, assist in food preparation, cleaning, and all other aspects of childcare.

Position Requirements

• 6-12+ units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education

• CPR/First Aide certified 

• Mandated Reporter Certification

• An overall positive and professional disposition

• Ability to make decisions on behalf of children and protect their well-being

• Must be able to manage confidential information

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and stand for long periods of time

• This position requires successfully passing a Livescan background check

• Classroom experience is a plus

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
