What makes us different?
We are located inside Legacy Training Center! We combine a whole-child educational approach with the unique opportunity to encourage gross motor play, physical development, and body awareness through gymnastics. Along with our inviting outdoor areas, the children at Legacy Children’s Center spend their days exploring, learning, playing, and moving together!
Our Philosophy
Legacy Children’s Center focuses on whole child development with an emphasis on play-based learning. We believe in fostering a connection to nature through outdoor play, exploration, and caring for our outdoor environment.
We also understand the importance of building strong interpersonal relationships and the development of problem-solving skills. We encourage our students to explore their interests and offer opportunities gain confidence as they learn and grow.
Our teachers act as facilitators, creating opportunities for learning and exploration both individually and as a group. Legacy teachers are caring and compassionate, and we recognize that strong relationships are fostered through open communication among teachers, children, and their families.

Outdoor Play Area
The outdoor play area is thoughtfully designed to encourage cooperative, solitary, and imaginary play. Our play structure, sandbox, garden, walking path, and backyard offer our students new ways to explore and play.

Walking Path
A well maintained walking path runs along the exterior border of the property offering endless opportunities for discovery! The natural landscape is the perfect backdrop for children to find materials for found art projects, look for lizards and frogs, or dig their toes in the dirt and discover something new.

Gymnastics
Children enrolled in Legacy Children’s Center use the beautiful gymnastics facility every day! Our preschool gymnastics area is specially designed with equipment for young children. Our students also participate in weekly gymnastics classes coached by trained staff with lessons created just for them!
